To Kill a Mockingbird

Feeling: The heavy load of homework
O__O The one and the many is a tough topic. That is the topic for out assessment task. To understand the concepts and aspects of the one and the many with to Kill a Mockingbird and a realted text (mine being Small Island) and present it with a speech and visual presentation. The particularly aspect/theme that I want to use in my speech would be Prejudice. The one and the many > Man vs. Society > Tom vs. Maycomb > Black vs. Whites. Its during that time when whites 'had' to believe a white person's word over a black person's because of 'honour' and they dont want to be classified as a 'nigger-lover' even if the black man is innocent. In regards to my book,Small Island, I've decided to do the aspect of change when the first ship of Jamaican men arrived in Britain, the mother country (fyi,Jamaica was still part of the British Empire then). How people judged these men because they were coloured and that they were 'filthy'. They do not want to accept change and they are biassed to these people. I then need to create a visual presentation in A3 which means Ill need to go out and buy some or just get a sketch block. I then need to compose a speech approx. 6 minutes long. Palm cards are necessary so at least I need to finish my speech by thursday latest so I can print them out on friday then in between stuff during the weekend,I can practice my speech.
To be honest, this speech is taking a lot of time. Ive just finished studying for my science exam tomorrow. I still need to find 2 questions on renewable or non-renewable resources and 2 questions on ESD,photochemical pollution,salinity, biodiversity or deforestation for my geography assignment due Wednesday which I can finish off during recess with the help of Becs. I've done most of my research for history so I'll start that on Monday next week. For the portfolio, I've realised that I need to put dates on the bloody thing and redraft at least 2 more pieces to be my nominated pieces. Crap,there's so much to be done. With my Maths Assessment, I realised I need help getting quadratic equations in my head cause i kinda got stuck when we first started the topic. And parabola turning point forms to find the important stuff is hard *sigh* I was suppose to go for tutoring with Ms.Tran today at lunchtime but I forgot >_______<. Shall ask her tomorrow.Right that's it from me. L8er xxx
