Only less than 4 hours till we welcome in the new year. My previous layout had many problems and it proved hard for people to read my posts, or even bother to leave a comment. What better way to welcome the new year with a new layout and a post after nearly a month's absence. If you noticed the intro, those lyrics are from the song 'Who I Am Hates Who I've Been' by Relient K, and mean quite a lot to me.

I can't believe it, a year has gone by so quickly. I remember the quiet new year eve party we had and just bumming around the house awaiting midnight. It seemed like only yesterday but a year has gone by, and in that year a lot has happened to me, good and bad. Its amazing how speed and time changes depending on what happens around that time. The first half of the year seemed pretty normal paced and suddenly, time is going by so fast, I barely register it. Look forward to going to school and seeing old faces, new faces and what awaits us in our school year. Next year will be different, the last year I ever go to school, the last year of my schooling life, the ending of a chapter, a beginning of a new one. This is the most important year of that chapter though, because of the HSC and I must strive for the best that I can because it affects my future. A healthy lifestyle is in order but I have to cut down on distractions and keep to a good timetable.

I would say that this has been the year with the most things that have happened to me, and I've grown so much from it. To name a few:
# meeting new friends and learning the truth of friendship
# became more fitter from constant dancing and netball.
# lost my laptop, broke my camera, lost my enrich card
# Got a new laptop
# Went to Japan for the first time.
# Went to Sydney for the first time without family.
# Went on my last school trip to Sarawak.
# Completed my first piano examination (even though I didn't pass haha).
# Was in my first (and last) senior secondary production.
# Injured myself 4 times (2 sprained ankles, 1 sprained hand, 1 knee injury)
# Improved on my netball skills and tried out a new position - team won 3rd place in competition.
# Participated in athletics, swimming carnival and cross-country.
# Gained a lot of great friends from Club Bleach - phoned 4 of them.
# Became the vice-caption for my division in CB.
# Became a mod in 2 different forums.
# Got to see my relatives from Houston, Texas.
# Had a lot of crashes and burns but I had you guys :)
# 2nd in Chinese
# Got contacts.
# Nominated myself for a school captain position even though I didn't get it in the end :)
# First concert overseas
# OVERDRIVE!!!!
# Passed Year 11
# Me first alcoholic drink without my parents XD

Well there is so much more I can list. The roller coaster ride I've been through with my friends has been rough but its the experience I'll keep (even if some of them I don't want repeated). I've let my heart be broken once this year but although it didn't work out, he taught me something and I know some limits to my having a relationship. Had some troubles with having crushes on people and people having crushes on me but I've pulled through. I've gained someone great but he's too far away from me hah. I've broken down a hell lot of times, been through my most depressing state but I am stronger now ^__^.


Goodluck everybody in their studies, their social life, and their health. I hope to hold on to you all for a long time to come, to have you to push me forward and pull me up when I fall. I will always be there for you in return. Thank you for an interesting year!!! Ta xx
