Shaz FM: All I'm Living For by Evanescence
Feeling: Just Ok

Today would be an uneventful day, but it would also be a rather unusual one. Firstly, the power went out at like midnight. I was watching TV when I heard a sort of alarm go off, like the one when someone's at the door. My first thought was who on earth would be ringing the doorbell at this time when the lift just opened up. It does that when there's a power failure, only the lift was lower then usual. This one was different because some stuff still could be turned on. I wanted to intercom my sis who was sleeping upstairs but the phone was dead. Scary huh?

The bad thing about it was that my aircon didn't work, and the fan was the worst. My room is too big to have a nice breeze and I can't put the fan too loud or else I can't sleep. So I did a fun thing..i made a makeshift bed with the sofa in the TV room and slept there. I slept at around 1.30am but I woke up about an hour later. It was really stuffy and I realised the aircon turned off but it was quiet, too quiet. There's a fishtank in the room so I got used to sleeping with it on, cept I didn't hear any bubbles. Got up and realised that there weren't any blinking lights from the astro or the recorder. It was blank. Aircon was turned off and it was pitch black. The guys from TnB were supposed to come but it was out so I thought mum would be upstairs waiting in the living room cept she had gone to bed so I was alone. Didn't realise that the security system was off. I went back to bed anyway, tried my best to sleep.

Mum woke me up about 4am I think. I can't remember what time it was, I was barely conscious. She asked if I wanted to go back to my room and sleep cause the power was back on but I didn't have the energy to so I just slept there, she leaving the room turning on the aircon for me. I slept till 9.30am, wandered out of the room to see everybody up and about, Adam wanting to take a shower. I went back to the room and slept till noon though haha. Got out of bed, ate lunch then wanted to watch Astro cept it wasnt' working. Wanted to play the playstation, got the sound but didn't get the picture ^_^;. The only thing left was to watch a movie. Picked the movie "Stick It", something about a girl from the wrong side of the tracks joining gymnastics. A bit like "Step Up" if you've seen it but this doesn't have any deaths or romances (for the main character at least). Pretty good one, though unconventional. Realised one of Hayley's (main character)'s best friends, Poot played the younger version of Evan in The Butterfly's Effect.

We went to pick up Dina from school, dad fixed the TV cept shouted at me cause I didnt answer his question when I was answering Dina's -_-. Watched Flushed Away which had its gross parts, but also its funny ones. After that, bummed around, watched a few episodes of Nana..went online and had some talks..yeah that's about it. Might do something next friday with Rae and one of her border friends from Sydney. Looking forward to that. Having a dodgy internet connection and not being on MSN for a long time has made be lose contact with the world. It has been a week since I've seen my friends here and it does feel like Im losing people but that's just me. Right, Nana time haha. Ta xx
