I haven't posted here in nearly 2 weeks, wow. The last time I posted was the day before my Drama IP was due. I've been pretty busy after that. For the last 2 weeks I have been in school
everyday, due to the fact that we needed to practice for drama GP. I was so happy last week when we had a long weekend. Why? Because it left me more time to practice the GP as well as for my GP logbook and Chinese Speaking exam. I think I did pretty well in the speaking ^^
Had my piano exam on monday. I think I did a pretty good job, better then the horrible one I had last year *shudders*. Oh internal drama assessment was shit and good. Why shit? Someone thrashed the drama room is why! Our assessment was in period 4 but someone came in and broke stuff in period 3. Our props were broken. Props which we use for HSC, props which we need for when the HSC markers come next week. We were very pissed off. I was ultimately pissed off as well because we started performing and we didn't notice that there were thumbtacks on the floor. I had to perform a whole 12 minutes staying in character without having any reaction to the number of times I stood on a thumbtack -__- The next day, we went to Mrs. Besgrove's office (Head of Sec.) and saw our four perpetrators. Year 10 boys. I expected it from like the lower secondary students but Year 10!? Jeez. Alex put on an act to scare the boys but that's what we all did. We were pissed that they would do such a thing so we intended them to worry. They got three days suspension.
Wednesday was the swimming carnival. I didn't participate cause it was that time of month but it was good to cheer on my house. We didn't win Spirit Cup or the competition but it was good cause it was our last event with the school. I think I shouted way too much which was a bad thing to do cause the next day was performance night lawl. Thursday was a rather interesting day for me. In the morning, I already had a feeling that my voice was going to disappear. I knew performance night was like a few hours away but you want to know the shocking things I found out yesterday? My ranking for Business is 20/37. It's not that bad but my old ranking was 16 :/ I'm still happy about it but the thing absolutely suprising me is that I got first in English Extension Trial. FIRST!? It was the biggest shock of my life. I thought I was being played or something. I've been last the last 2 assessments so by being first, means I've pulled my ranking up \o/ I shared the news with my parents. Dad just got back from London and he got me two CDs. Score! He got my Delerium and Flyleaf's new albums ^___^ Performance night was actually pretty good. We got valuable input and it was great to see all my friends perform much better then they did. Now we only have to wait for the real HSC performance. I did lose my voice after the performance though hahaha :P
I was so happy today. Why? I got double free in the morning. My first double free EVER so it was good to sleep in and wake up fresh. I also only had 4 classes which were all productive. I feel like I'm actually doing justice to myself in all my classes. I need to do more revision on my related and prescribed texts for English this weekend. The only time Im going out this weekend is to go watch a movie with Bec after her Extension Indonesian HSC Speaking task. That seems to be all for now. The days are going by so quickly, its scary.
P.S: Oh, I got my UAC book today, so I need to read through it, prioritise my courses then register.
