16 days is an awfully long time not to blog. Either I forgot or I'm just too busy/lazy to post. The beginning of the month I was fairly sick, not coming to school cause of my migraines. I swear I've taken off at least 1 week of work. The only thing on my mind now is studying and fasting, which started on monday. A certain thing came to mind today, in my Drama class.
A man wants to get married, and he has to choose between three women.
He gives each of them $10 000 and asks them to do anything they like with it.
The first woman spends it on making herself beautiful
"I want to look good for you"
The second woman spends it on golf clubs and stuff he likes
"I want to make you happy"
The third woman invests the money and makes triple the amount
"I want to raise a family with you and spend my life with you."
They're all good reasons right?
The man thinks hard and eventually chooses the girl with the biggest boobs.
* Bewildered looks * (Incase you didn't know, 2 guys, 5 girls and Ms. Weston)
Teresa: But you know guys don't like big boobs.
Amy: It's true!
Ms. Weston jokingly cracks it saying she's appalled at such a thing. She makes a comeback at Pirom.
"Why would you do such a thing. It's not like you go up to a guy and say "Oh sorry, I can't date you cause you don't have a big enough penis.""
We cracked up after that. I nearly had tears in my eyes. Its true! Guys look at breasts and you don't see many girls looking at that area, trying to strike conversation XD. It brought on the whole issue of sexism in our school and society in general. We were talking about girls selling themselves just for the attention of guys (Year 8 and 9 girls!) but it was also true that they get it from some of the girls in our grade who wear short skirts, have a low buttoned top where you can see their piercings and tattoos. Its come to a world where sex sells. We even then went to talk about racism and discrimination.
Talk about a good triple drama lesson. No more double Drama or double English \o/ Me don't really have much to say right now, I'm too hungry XD Got like 50 more minutes before I can break fast -__- At least I get to watch my show. After that, need to watch Peter Brooke's version of King Lear for Module B. Need to refresh my memory. Tomorrow shall be Brave New World then Wednesday will be Frontline XD That's it for now.
