I went out with my dad to a Raya Party. I'm glad I did. The house was in Damansara Heights but the residence place, Idamansara is gorgeous! Im serious. Getting to Damansara Heights looks a bit dodgy but once you pass the guard house, you're wondering if you're even in the same country. That's because the whole neighbourhood looks like something out of a modern western story. Beautiful modern zen-like houses with streetlights and a smooth pavement as a road. Doesn't feel like we're in Damansara let alone KL. The inside of the house? Damn, its only like a three story terrace but its gorgeous inside. We went to A. Za's house, daughter of this guy whose first name I cant remember but their last name is Merican. He is someone of amazement, but I'll get to that after this.

The house has a pond, and plasma TVs in every room. The main bedroom has a study and massive room space and toilet. She has her own dressing room. They have a gorgeous cat. She makes delicious food (apparently their whole family are great cooks) and she designed many of the things in her house. That's cause she's an interior designer. Her brother is an architect. Kamil is the guy who designed our house. He also designed Idamansara. Picture here. There are only two houses that are being lived in now but they've all been sold out for a hefty 3 million ringgit.

U. Merican as I will call him is bloody awesome. He's 83 years old but he's been places. He's such an inspiration. He's in media communications. He's the guy that chose Negaraku, the first malay to graduate at the top of the class from Berklee College of Music (same class as Quincy Jones), the man who gave us TV3 and NTV7 (One of the former presidents for RTM) and he's travelled far and wide. He's amazing with his video and editing skills. We also had some interesting conversation. Have you wondered why in the 50 years we've had independence, that all the local TV stations have never once in their life aired a show that isnt in Malay? And that majority of Malaysians speak English but they don't change their ways?

Serious legend that guy was. Oh and I met someone who I used to go to Primary school with. Remember Pia Chai? The name feels a bit off but I have his picture from 6 years back in my memoir box haha. He remembered my name but sadly, I didn't. A thought in my head was telling me that it was his nickname and I didnt want to say anything cause he was always with his mum. Pretty funny though.

Good night. Last night in KL. Tomorrow evening I'll be back in Singapore and then Tuesday - Thursday is study English and Business as if dying (From Katekyo Hitman Reborn - manga). Sit Paper 1 then I have that arvo and the weekend to study for Paper Two and Business, then the arvo after Paper 2 for Business. After Business will be a semi rest day. Wednesday 24th Oct to Sunday 28th Oct will be studying Maths and all my other subjects. Sunday is entirely Maths. After Maths exam, I have about 3 days till Extension in which will be used for that subject alone. After Extension I have 3 days to work on Chinese (reading comprehension, grammar, listening and writing). At least the exam is in the arvo so I have a bit of time to prepare. I think Chinese needs more time so after Extension take a little break then do Chinese. I have 2 days to prepare for Drama after that so it means that after Chinese, I need to do some revision. Then after that, it's all over o: November 9th will be Zaneta's party. The weekend will be spent hanging out with some of my friends AND packing AND getting rid of stuff I don't need (notes from Year 10?!). Need to return books and get signed my exit form. November 12th is Formal (which reminds me, I need to pay haha). Im going to get a flight on November 14th. So it means I can still go for the Linkin Park concert \o/ Excellent way to end high school, the HSC and my time in Singapore. Now the only worry I have is if two suitcases will be enough to bring back all my stuff and how Im going to do all of this with my mother around haha. That's all for now. Ta xx
