There is truth in your lies, doubt in your faith

Right~ What's new?
Saturday was spent having a quiet day in, until around 1 when we went to pick up Oichi and Chika, our friends from Japan who were down in KL for 2 days. Funny thing happened while we were waiting.
Our car broke down.
XD The funniest thing I thought. I had the craziest idea of wearing high heels so I was kinda suffering a little lol. After we picked them up, we went to the banana leaf shop to eat some local foods. A. Ann went home early that morning and she gave me RM200 \o/ After eating, we went home just to rest. In the evening, we went out a little to show them some of the sights. We stopped at the Padang just to let them take pictures, and it was kinda cool to just stand in the middle of the padang, taking in the air.
The next day was the awesome trek! Well not that awesome, we just went to Batu Caves, and climbed those steps! Oh and Dina got poo'ed on. It went into her hair and tshirt, but its meant to be good luck so good luck to her?
After that, we went to Eest to have dinner. Relaxed at home for a bit then followed mum to Pasar Malam. Monday was a good day. Woke up early to go to Bangsar Village cause Dina's friends were at Celebrity Fitness. Dina and me are kinda hoping to get a membership there, cause the facilities look amazing and the classes are something Im interested in, ranging from Line Dance, Hip Hop, Power Jam and Yoga. There is of course the other stuff available, the decent prices and the closeness of it all. Had lunch with her friends and went to the post office to send Kira's birthday present. She's sent the waffles (don't ask).
In the evening was my interview at RSGC. I was dolled up in a Baju Kebaya and went with dad. It was nerve-wrecking at first, then it got better. Really clicked with a few people so that was cool. Tuesday was spent visiting Tok Mummy and going to Sungei Wang. I've completed my Christmas shopping already lol. Im so happy and I still have a little money over to survive the week (decided to not ask my mum for allowance cause she only gave it to me on friday). I bought a shirt for Adam, a book for my dad, a CD for mum and a necklace for Dina.
And a newsflash. Mum's going for an operation. It's to do with her stomach lining expanding. The lining is the size of a 16-week baby so she needs to go for it. She's decided to go in on the 6th of December, the day after my 18th birthday, which is kinda scary. Not cause its after, but because its only a week away. She'll be in the hospital for 5 days, and me and Dina will be taking turns staying with her because she won't be able to do things much for herself, or the next month, but we decided it was the best time before we started going to Sydney because after that, when Dina starts school and me overseas, it'd be too stressful for my mother. Bec's still coming around the 10th so I'll just take her around the city and not stress my mother out too much. With this however, I think I might not have that 18th birthday party. Having a nice dinner with my family on the real date would be great for me. Perhaps I could have a get together with friends but where would I go? Can't have it at home cause mum needs to recover, so nyah~
Today was a quiet day just resting, and watching Dina play Assasin's Creed, which is a kickass game. And we found out an old friend of my parents' finally passed away yesterday night. She had been on a support system since friday but she was brain dead so her family pulled the plug. When I heard the story I was quite sad, and pissed off at the stupid MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT. Seriously, when the trial comes, our country deserves it. She, her husband and his mother were driving home to KL. There were two parked trailers on the highway and she didn't see it (obviously no warning signs) so she crashed head first into a trailer. Her husband and mother-in-law suffered minor injuries but she got the brunt of the accident. Her husband called an ambulance. He demanded they drive to Pantai Ayer Keroh Hospital but it was a government ambulance and they had to go to a government hospital. The man is a doctor, there were no basics in the ambulance. They get to the hospital but there isn't a bed in the Emergency Room. He pleads to bring her to Pantai but by the time they got there, it was 3.15am. The accident occured around 12.40am. She was pronounced brain dead by then, no oxigen to the brain. I was quite upset for the family. The father was in denial for the first few days. I would be too, you know, if you wanted to go somewhere and you're a doctor yourself but you couldnt do anything about it. He waited for his family to come back from their studying overseas before they decided to pull the plug. The government deserve to be sued, it's gonna be a big case. What kind of COUNTRY doesnt have basic facilities in an ambulance!? And there are other things I could criticise about it but I won't.
Tomorrow Im meeting Ivan Chee, Ivan Chong and Ew-Jun at Megamall. It'd be good. I'm kinda thinking of changing blogging servers, like Rae cause I doubt Ill be changing skins in the near future anymore and Im kinda getting bored of my current one. Will post soon about it though. Cheers xx
